Milliken at TOKYO PACK 2016
This week, Milliken representatives have been sharing NX™ UltraClear PP with attendees to TOKYO PACK 2016. Under the theme, “The Heart of Advanced Packaging Solutions in Asia,” TOKYO PACK is expected to bring in more than 70,000 visitors by the show’s close on October 7.
NX UltraClear PP—polypropylene clarified with our Millad® NX™ 8000—brings glass-like clarity to polypropylene parts and is suitable for nearly all processing methods, including thermoforming, injection molding, and blow molding.
NX UltraClear PP brings these distinct advantages to packaging applications:
- Attractive: Rivaling the clarity of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polystyrene (PS), NX UltraClear PP is poised to meet increasing consumer demand for transparent packaging, and brings added performance benefits for the consumer, such as microwavability and hot fill capability.
- Cost-Efficient: The low density and low weight of NX UltraClear PP mean that more parts can be produced with less product, resulting in the opportunity for cost savings.
- Versatile: NX UltraClear PP is ideal for a range of packaging applications, including cups, trays, clamshells, buckets, carafes, bottles, jugs, jars, and more.
- Sustainable: In addition to being fully recyclable, the low weight of NX UltraClear PP requires less fuel consumption, fewer emissions, and fewer raw materials in production.
