Milliken to Exhibit at Packaging Innovations in Amsterdam & Madrid

Later this week, Milliken will exhibit at the Packaging Innovations events in both Amsterdam and Madrid, November 23-24. The events will feature exhibition areas showing the latest manufacturing and product innovations in packaging as well as sustainability-focused conferences throughout the two days.

At both events, Milliken will highlight the packaging applications made possible by NX™ UltraClear PP—polypropylene clarified with Milliken’s Millad® NX™ 8000. With glass-like clarity, NX UltraClear PP can now rivals traditional clear packaging materials, such as PET and PS.

Helping to meet consumer demand for clear, lightweight, and sustainable packaging, NX UltraClear PP offers additional benefits, such as superior heat resistance for hot-fill and microwaveable applications and easy sealing the need for an additional adhesive layer.

NX UltraClear PP is suitable for nearly any manufacturing process, including injection molding, blow molding, and thermoforming. This allows for a range of product applications, such as cups, lids, trays, clamshells, bottles, jars, food storage containers, and more.

At the Amsterdam event, NX UltraClear PP for thermoformed food packaging has been named one of six nominees for the 2016 Packaging Innovations Award. On November 23, Milliken's Bart Gabriëls will share his pitch with both event attendees and the award jury for why NX UltraClear PP deserves the award.
