ClearTint colorants are a unique class of materials specifically designed for use in Millad® clarified polypropylene (PP).
In the past, opaque polypropylene products were colored with pigments. With the expanding use of Millad clarifying agents in polyolefin resins, ClearTint has met the need for colorants that do not interfere with clarity. ClearTint Colorants are oligomeric coloring materials which combine the exceptional aesthetics of dyes with the migration resistance of pigments.
The latest generation of these polymeric colorants from Milliken Chemical provides the best option for maintaining clarity in polypropylene applications.
ClearTint colorants provide the brightest, cleanest, most transparent colors available. These colorants can be used as light tints to mask residual haze or used for deep, rich shades not possible with pigment colorants.
