High Purity Bisphenol A Intermediates for Coatings and Inks
Milliken’s patented process enables the high purity production of Bisphenol A (BPA) alkoxylated intermediates for can coating, overprint varnish, and ink applications. As a result, Milliken is able to specify maximum residual BPA concentrations 90% below typical industry concentrations. For the UV coating and ink manufactures, our products enable them to produce a better consumer product expected from the food packaging regulations.
Our Syn Fac 9000 series BPA alkoxylates are offered in a broad range of ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide ratios, including block and random copolymers. For the end user our high purity, low residual BPA products are direct replacements for your current BPA alkoxylated components. Typically residual BPA specifications are 50 ppm maximum in the final product.
