Bisphenol A (BPA) Alkoxylates Products
Milliken manufactures a number of Bisphenol A (BPA) alkoxylates, which are available in a broad range of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide adducts. These can be used as intermediates for UV curable monomers, unsaturated polyester resins, toner binder resins, automotive coating resins, and polyurethane products. Our ground-breaking products provide greater flexibility, improved chemical resistance, and better adhesion on a variety of substrates.
Offering superior quality, our alkoxylates also act as reactive diluents when incorporated into the resin or letdown side of various coating systems, which may require less volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while seeing significant physical property improvement. Formulating coatings with our products reduces or even eliminates the need for HAPS or other expensive solvents, for better efficiency.
High Purity Bisphenol A Intermediates for Coatings and Inks
Milliken has developed a process to produce high purity BPA products. Our Syn Fac 9000 series, is designed to minimize residual small weight molecule components, resulting in a high purity product with drop in capabilities containing minimal residual BPA.
Surfactants for use in acid zinc electroplating are produced by modifying BPA ethoxylates. The benefits of these surfactants include effectiveness over a wide temperature range, resulting in more sustainable production and improved costs.
Pigment and Dye Dispersants
Today’s printing inks are limited by odor and taste transfer, in addition to concerns about residual chemicals migrating out of the coating. SynFac overcomes concerns through a proprietary processing technique leading to significantly improved purity.
